Larenbosch Retirement Village has what it takes to provide for the needs of the residents. The wonderful situation of Larenbosch in Bot River in the heart of the Overberg, makes everything else we want also accessible to us.

Healthy & Delicious Meals

The fully equipped kitchen caters to provide every unit with at least 20 midday meals a month. We recognise good nutrition as being essential to the health and well being of our residents.

Care Centre & Sick Bay

Larenbosch Retirement Village has a sister is available on a daily basis as well as fulltime support/carers. The sick bay provided offers temporary aid to an indisposed person.

Community Centre

The Community Centre provides the residents with a dining area, lounge, kitchen for meals and refreshments, a sick bay, dispensary, and a laundry and library. Residents are free to use the lounge and coffee room with a large flat screen TV and an internet station, The dining area is for use of meals and special events and meetings.

Facilities & Gardens

Management is responsible for the maintenance of the external faces and roofs of all buildings. The gardens are a work in progress, being laid out with trees, lawns, flower pots and flower beds. Residents may co-ordinate development of their own garden beds with management paying attention to water usage.
The gardens will be maintained and watered by Larenbosch, but residents are responsible for the specialised care of any gardens they themselves undertake.

Security

Access is restricted and there is electric security fencing and walling around the property. CCTV cameras supplement our security measures. For personal care or emergency purposes every tenant has a portable electronic care button.

Environmental & Social Awareness

Larenbosch management and residents have proven their commitment to reducing their environmental footprint and increasing their social impact. They have done this by saving water on the estate and through their interaction with various social services and projects.
